Gia Lai Province

Gia Lai is the second-largest province in Vietnam - a vast Central Highlands plateau of red basalt soil, coffee and rubber plantations, and the living culture of the Gia Rai and Ba Na peoples. Pleiku sits at 800m elevation with a cool climate, volcanic crater lakes, and a frontier energy unlike any coastal city. For solo travelers, it's the authentic Central Highlands experience without the tourist polish of Da Lat.
