What Makes Cát Cò Beach Special

Cát Cò is a cluster of three small beaches on the southern headland of Cát Bà town, each set in a separate cove between limestone karst spurs that drop directly to the water. The three beaches - Cát Cò 1, Cát Cò 2, and Cát Cò 3 - are progressively less developed and more scenic from west to east, connected by a cliff path that runs above all three. Cát Cò 1, the closest to town, has resort hotels directly on the beach, sunbed rentals, and the most facilities. Cát Cò 3, the furthest, is set in the most dramatic karst cove with forested cliffs rising on three sides and the bay opening to the south - the most photogenic of the three and the least crowded.
